On January 31, 2020, PG&E Corporation and Pacific Gas and Electric Company, as federal Bankruptcy Code Chapter 11 Debtors, and the “Shareholder Proponents” (certain funds and accounts managed or advised by Abrams Capital Management, LP, and certain funds and accounts managed or advised by Knighthead Capital Management, LLC), filed “Debtors and Shareholder Proponents’ Joint Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization Dated January 31, 2020”. The January 31, 2020, Plan updates their Plan dated December 12, 2019.
On January 31, 2020, the Debtors also filed testimony in the California Public Utility Commission’s Docket relating to the Plan of Reorganization.
