John Ratnaswamy to be Appointed as ABA Division Advisor to Uniform Law Commission Drafting Committee

John Ratnaswamy is being appointed as an Advisor on behalf of the American Bar Association’s Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice Division to the Uniform Law Commission’s Drafting Committee on Tort Law Relating to Drones. The ULC provides states with non-partisan, draft legislation intended to bring clarity and stability to critical areas of state statutory law. This Committee will draft a uniform act or model law addressing tort liability and defenses associated with the unique use of aerial drones. John previously served as an ABA Advisor to the ULC’s Study Committee on Regulation of Drones.
