FERC, NERC Release Presentation Regarding 2025 Long-Term Reliability Assessment

On February 19, 2026, the Federal Regulatory Energy Commission (“FERC”) and the North American Electronic Reliability Corporation (“NERC”) released a presentation titled: “Long-Term Reliability Assessment”.

The presentation concluded, among other things, that there needed to be more investment in critical infrastructure, retention of essential reliability services and energy supply, and greater deployment of related technologies.
