Bankruptcy Court Confirms PG&E Amended Plan of Reorganization

On June 20, 2020, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Dennis Montali confirmed the plan of reorganization of PG&E Corporation and its subsidiary Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) in an order entitled: “ORDER CONFIRMING DEBTORS’

AND SHAREHOLDER PROPONENTS’ JOINT CHAPTER 11 PLAN OF REORGANIZATION DATED JUNE 19, 2020.”

The parent company and the utility voluntarily had filed for bankruptcy under federal Bankruptcy Code Chapter 11 on January 29, 2019.
